Congratulations to Tyiesha Oliver, who was appointed as the new Assistant Principal at Baldwin High School during the October Board of Education Meeting.

Tyiesha Oliver was born and raised in the beautiful coastal city of Savannah, Georgia.

She received her Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Georgia College & State University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fort Valley State University.

She has been dedicated to the field of education for over 17 years, including 15 years with Bibb County School District and 2 years with Hancock County Schools. She has enjoyed spending her entire career supporting educators and students at all grade levels as a teacher, teacher leader, school counselor, instructional coach, and assistant principal.

In her spare time, she loves to travel to new places and read a good book. She is excited to join the Baldwin County School District and working with our students and their families.
