It is with profound sadness that we mourn the unexpected loss of two of our students: Brittany Spell, a 22- year-old Baldwin High School graduate of the Class of 2017, and Erin Bass, a sixth grade student from Oak Hill Middle School. Ms. Spell lost her life in a house fire. We have all been devastated by this tragic news. The family has set up a Go Fund Me account to help raise funds for funeral expenses. Erin Bass, the sixth-grade student, passed away suddenly at home and our hearts were broken to hear of this terrible news. Losing a child is an unspeakable tragedy and our school district is mourning this loss alongside the family.
