Oak Hill Middle School Welcomes New Principal Manzie T. Broxton

Congratulations to Manzie T. Broxton who was appointed by the Baldwin County Board of Education as the new principal of Oak Hill Middle School, effective July 1, 2023. Mr. Broxton is a native of Sandersville, Georgia and a graduate of the Washington County Schools. He received his Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education and his Master’s in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University. He also received two Specialist degrees - one in Educational Leadership and one in Teacher Leadership - from Georgia College & State University. Mr. Broxton is currently working on his doctorate degree at Georgia College.


During his tenure in education, Manzie T. Broxton has served as principal, assistant principal, middle school math and social studies teacher, grade level chair, athletic coach, PBIS coach, bus driver, MTSS coordinator, testing coordinator, and athletic director.

He is married to Ashley, who is an assistant principal in Washington County, and they have one son, Courtney, and two daughters, Madison and Kelsey.


Mr. Broxton looks forward to working with the staff, students, parents, and community members to take Oak Hill Middle School to new heights.
