Oak Hill Middle School Shines at 2025 National Civics Bee

Writer: EricJonesEricJones

The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce was proud to host the 2025 National Civics Bee, an inspiring event designed to ignite civic interest and leadership among local youth. With over 60 essay submissions and 18 standout students competing live, this year’s bee was our biggest and most impactful yet—highlighting the strength of Baldwin County School excellence.

A Showcase of Civic Knowledge and Real-World Problem Solving

Middle school students from across the region took the stage to demonstrate their understanding of civics, explore real-world issues, and offer thoughtful solutions for the challenges facing our communities. From poverty and homelessness to water accessibility, the topics tackled were timely, relevant, and deeply personal.

These young scholars impressed a distinguished panel of judges with their critical thinking, communication skills, and passion for civic responsibility.

Congratulations to Our Top Three Finalists!
