Oak Hill Middle School Holds its Annual Bridging Ceremony

In May 2024, a momentous occasion unfolded as hundreds of eighth-grade students assembled in the gymnasium of Oak Hill Middle School for their Bridging Ceremony. Assistant Superintendent Matt Adams, alongside Principal Manzie Broxton and Dr. Runee Sallad, Director of Georgia College Early College, officiated the symbolic transfer of students to the esteemed care and educational stewardship of Baldwin High School, led by Principal Mr. Jason Flanders.

Commencing with the dignified presentation of colors and opening remarks by Oak Hill Principal Mr. Broxton, the event featured a melodic performance by the OHMS chorus. Dr. Oliver Griffeth III, Assistant Principal of Baldwin High School, delivered poignant remarks before the culmination of the ceremony with the presentation of honors to each deserving student.
