Midway Hills Academy celebrated Unity Day with a pep rally last week. Students and staff came together to learn about bullying prevention. According to the PACER Center, Unity Day, is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month and continues to grow every year as a tangible representation of the universal message that our society wants to promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion to prevent bullying.
The hour long program included student led songs and cheers. Students learned what different forms of bullying looked like, and took the Unity Day Pledge. This pledge signified their commitment to kindness.
