On Tuesday, May 14th, the Board Meeting was held at the Board of Education Office where recognitions were given to our May Pursuit of Excellence winners, our Finance Department for receiving an Unmodified Audit (No Findings), National Nurses Week, Allison Rousey for being recognized as a 2024 Exemplary ESOL Teacher by State School Superintendent Richard Woods, Music Educators for receiving the National Recognition for Best Communities For Music Education from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) for the 9th Year in a row. We also recognized our United Way Coordinators for raising $14,588.25, Salutatorian Kiersten Smith for being selected as a Gates Scholar and a member of the Gates Scholarship Class of 2024, Oak Hill Middle School Math Team for winning the Oconee RESA Regional Middle School Math Contest. A special recognition was also given for a special Collaboration Award given to the Baldwin County School District by Georgia College & State University School of Continuing & Professional Studies.
