Dr. Eric Carlyle Joins Midway Hills Academy as New Principal

Join the Baldwin County School District as we welcome Dr. Eric Carlyle to Midway Hills Academy. Carlyle will serve as the new principal and he is excited to become a part of the Midway Mustangs and the Milledgeville community. Dr. Carlyle is originally from Twin City, Georgia and brings 26 years of experience in the field of education to his role with the district. His leadership experience includes 6 years as an elementary school Assistant Principal, 10 years as a middle school Principal, and 4 years of central office experience, 2 of which were in Fulton County Schools. Dr. Carlyle earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and his Master's Degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University. He earned his Specialist Degree in Education from Columbus State University and his Doctorate Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University. He has one son, who attends Tuskegee University. We look forward to him joining our school district and serving our Midway Hills Academy students and staff with leadership and integrity.
