Congratulations to Mrs. Anitra Wright Douglas, New BCSD Human Resources Director. Mrs. Douglas is a native of Greene County and has been a resident of Baldwin County for the past 28 years. After graduating from Greene County High School, she continued her educational journey while attending Georgia College & State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, and Keller Graduate School of Management, where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree. Mrs. Douglas began her career in 1996 with the Milledgeville Housing Authority as maintenance support personnel, and with her experience and education, she advanced to the position of Executive Director where she oversaw the entire operations for the agency. She served the Milledgeville Housing Authority for more than 21 years before joining the Baldwin County Board of Education in 2019. Mrs. Douglas is married to Kendall Douglas, Sr., Baldwin High School Class of 1992. Mr. Douglas serves as Regional Principal for the Department of Juvenile Justice. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas are the parents of a blended family of seven. All seven of their children have attended school in the Baldwin County School District with five graduating from BCSD and the youngest two graduating from the Newton County School District.

With her wide range of experience, she has a very clear understanding of Executive Level Management and human resources operations. We are excited to have Mrs. Douglas lead the BCSD Human Resources Department into the future.
