Celebrating Our School Nutrition Employees: National School Lunch Week Appreciation

Writer's picture: EricJonesEricJones

National School Lunch Week fell on Fall Break this year (October 9-13, 2023), but at Baldwin County School District, we believe that appreciation for our school nutrition employees is a year-round commitment. On Friday, October 27th, Superintendent Dr. Noris Price and Deputy Superintendent Matt Adams took the time to visit each of our schools and celebrate the hard work and dedication of these unsung heroes who play a pivotal role in our children's lives.

The Baldwin County School Nutrition staff has consistently shown an unwavering commitment to providing our students with healthy, nutritious meals. They understand the importance of proper nutrition in a child's development and are dedicated to ensuring that every child receives two nutritious meals each day.

Our school nutrition employees work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to provide thousands of meals each day to our students and staff. Their dedication is unwavering, and their commitment to our school district is commendable. They are not just feeding our children; they are nurturing their growth and well-being.

Let's join together in thanking our school nutrition employees, not just during National School Lunch Week but every day. Your appreciation and support mean the world to them and serve as a reminder of the significant impact they make in our school district. Together, we can ensure that they feel valued and celebrated for their invaluable contributions.
