Baldwin High School is home to some of the most talented athletes in the state, and the Braves baseball team is no exception. On a beautiful spring evening, Tuesday, April 18th, the team celebrated their annual Senior Night and took on Westside in their final home game of the regular season. The game was full of excitement and intense competition, and in the end, the Braves emerged victorious, 5 - 1, with their eyes now set on the playoffs pending this Thursday's away game against Howard High School in Macon.

Afterward the game, the team celebrated their Senior Night, it was clear that there was a strong sense of camaraderie and support among the players. The seniors were honored for their hard work and dedication to their team, and it was an emotional moment for everyone involved. The underclassmen rallied around their teammates, cheering them on and showing their support for the seniors.

But this win was not just about the seniors. It was a team effort, with every player contributing to the victory under Coach Rico Gibson. The Braves' offense was on point, with several key hits and runs scored, while the defense held strong and kept Westside at bay.

The BHS baseball team is looking for a spot in the playoffs, and they are poised for victory against Howard tonight! This win is a testament to the team's hard work and dedication, and is a shining example of what can be achieved through teamwork and perseverance. We wish the Braves the best of luck in tonight's game and look forward to watching them continue to make us proud. Go Braves!
