BCSD Welcomes New Special Education Coordinator Felicia Batts

Baldwin County School District is excited to welcome Felicia Batts as the new Special Education Coordinator. Batts was appointed to her position by the Baldwin County Board of Education in April.


Felicia Batts graduated from Lee County High School in Leesburg, GA. She holds an Educational Specialist in Special Education from Georgia College & State University, Master in Educational Leadership from Georgia College & State University, Master in Education with a concentration in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University. Batts comes with 15 years of experience, having served as a special education teacher and lead, academic coach, RTI coach, and teacher induction specialist.


Batts is married to Dr. Willie Batts Jr., who is a principal in Dublin City, and they have three beautiful children, Willie, Matthew, and Winter Grace. Batts enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She is excited to join the special education department. Batts has a heart for students with disabilities and is elated to be joining the BCSD team.
