BCSD to hold annual Javon Bullard Day on both March 10th and 11th

The Baldwin High School Athletic Department has scheduled a “Javon Bullard Day” on both Friday, March 10th, and Saturday, March 11th. The Baldwin County School District alumni and two time National Champion and Defensive MVP of the Chick-Fil-a Bowl and National Championship Game will visit the Baldwin County School District on Friday, March 10th, spending the day again with the students, staff, and faculty at each of our schools. His visiting schedule will be as follows:

9:00-9:30 - Midway Hills Primary

9:35-10:05- Lakeview Primary

10:10-10:45 - Lakeview Academy

10:50-11:20 - Early Learning Center

11:30-12:00 - Midway Hills Academy

12:15- 1:15 - Lunch

1:15-1:45 - Georgia College Early College

1:50-2:25 - Oak Hill Middle School

2:30 - Baldwin High School

Bullard will start the day by visiting each of the schools in the district. Each school will plan an event to celebrate Javon’s accomplishment. The final stop on his school tour will be Baldwin High School. We are asking everyone to wear their UGA spirit wear to show support for this young man and the great accomplishment of being a national champion.

The following day, Saturday, March 11th, the Baldwin County School District is partnering with The City of Milledgeville for a Javon Bullard Celebration Parade. The parade will start at 10:00 am at the Milledgeville Police Department, before coming around to the Downtown stretch on Hancock and ending at the Magnolia Ballroom.

For further information, please contact Dexter Ricks, Athletic Director, or Jason Flanders, Baldwin High School Principal, at (478) 453-6429.
