The Baldwin County School District participated in the 2024 Georgia School Boards Association & Georgia School Superintendents Association Annual Conference in Atlanta. For the second time in history, these associations have two members of the same school district leading the state organizations. John Jackson is president of the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA), and Dr. Noris Price is president of the Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA).
Superintendent Dr. Noris Price and Board Member John Jackson presided over the three-day conference, which focused on critical issues impacting public education and recognizing the School Boards and superintendents across the state.
The Baldwin County School District would like to congratulate Dr. Mike Looney, Superintendent of Fulton County School District, for being named the 2025 Georgia Superintendent of the Year and the Douglas County School Board for being named 2025 Governance Team of the Year.
