This week's BOE Employee of the Week is our direction of Nutritional Services, Susan Nelson! Originally from Walton County, Mrs. Nelson grew up with two brothers and two sisters in a UGA-proud household.
She earned her Bachelor’s from Georgia College in Home Economics and her Master’s in Adult Education from UGA. She is also a Certified Servsafe Instructor through the National Restaurant Association and enjoys teaching all over the state, when possible.
Mrs. Nelson has a storied career in all kinds of food service that have helped develop her expertise as a problem solver and communicator that helps her meet the immense demands of feeding our students each and every day. We thank you Mrs. Nelson, for all you do for our district.
