On May 2nd, 2024, Baldwin High School held its third annual Golden Apple Awards ceremony at the Fine Arts Center. This cherished event once again provided graduating honors students the opportunity to recognize the teachers who had made the most profound impact on them. Each student presented their chosen teacher with a trophy, describing the significant influence these educators had on their lives.
The Golden Apples Awards was started in 2022 by Baldwin High School's late Academy Coach Shelton Brown and BHS Principal Jason Flanders, who continues to emphasize the importance of honoring both graduating seniors and the teachers who have profoundly shaped their educational journeys.
The Golden Apple Awards not only celebrates the hard work and dedication of Baldwin County teachers but also served as a reminder of the lasting impact educators have on their students. The event has become a beloved tradition, highlighting the essential role teachers play in fostering academic and personal growth in their students.
