The Magnolia Ballroom at Georgia College was aglow on the evening of November 14th with a sense of pride and appreciation as faculty, staff, business partners, community members, and students gathered to honor and celebrate the remarkable educators of the Baldwin County School District. The occasion was the 2024-2025 annual BCSD Teacher of the Year Banquet, a night that showcased the dedication and hard work of our outstanding teachers who consistently go above and beyond for their students.

Baldwin County is thrilled to announce that the 2025 District Teacher of the Year is William Brunson, a dedicated special education teacher at Baldwin High School. Brunson's incredible journey does not end here; he will now represent our district at the state level, competing for the title of Georgia Teacher of the Year.

Each of our school Teachers of the Year represents the best in education, embodying the spirit of excellence that defines our school district. From elementary to high school, from Montessori to special education, we are privileged to have such a diverse and talented group of teachers who inspire and shape the future of our students.

We applaud William Brunson for his outstanding achievement and celebrate all our Teachers of the Year Finalists for their remarkable contributions to education. Congratulations to William Brunson, Laura Franklin, Moleishia Little, Tomeishia Stanton, Shekita Shinholster, and Diondrea Whipple! Your dedication and passion continue to shape the bright future of our students and inspire us all.
