The time has come for the Baldwin High School Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony! The event will take place Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Braves Stadium. This is a ticketed event; therefore guests must have a ticket to attend graduation in person. All BCSD safety protocols will be put in to place to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance. Masks will be required for anyone entering the stadium. For those guests who are unable to attend the graduation ceremony in person, the commencement will be live streamed to the public via a Vimeo link: https://vimeo.com/event/988319.

The weather forecast indicates that the day of graduation will be part of the first wave of hotter temperatures in Middle Georgia, therefore the following preventions are encouraged for family, friends, and others who will be attending the event in person.

  • Dress appropriately: Wear loose-fitting, lightweight clothing.

  • Drink plenty of water before and during the ceremony: Staying hydrated will help your body sweat and maintain a normal body temperature.

  • Take extra precautions with medications: If you take medications that can affect your body's ability to stay hydrated be extra cautious. If you are unsure about your medications, ask your physician before attending graduation.

  • Be cautious if you are at increased risk: If you have a condition that increases your risk of heat-related problems avoid the heat and act quickly if you notice symptoms of overheating.

  • Come prepared with items to keep yourself cool: It's advised to bring a paper or cardboard fan or a battery-operated pocket fan with you. It is also a good suggestion to wet a washcloth, freeze it, and put it in a plastic bag to use to keep your skin cool.
