Baldwin County School District to Hold Back-to-School Convocation

The Baldwin County School District (BCSD) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Back-to-School Convocation, an exciting event that marks the beginning of another promising school year. This year, Willie Spears will be our esteemed keynote speaker. With a remarkable background spanning two decades in education as an administrator, teacher, and coach, Spears has left an indelible mark on countless students' lives. Having worked at Camden County High School in Kingsland, Georgia, and Thomasville High School in Thomasville, GA, Spears brings a wealth of experience to our convocation.


The Back-to-School Convocation will take place on Tuesday, July 25Th at the Baldwin High School Fine Arts Center. The highlight of the convocation will be a series of inspiring speeches from distinguished guests, including representatives from the BCSD School Board, District Staff, Milledgeville City Council, and Baldwin County Board of Commission as well as student speakers.


Spears's mission is to add value to the education community through inspirational messages. He has authored 14 books, hosts a popular podcast, maintains a strong social media presence, and delivers powerful presentations to educators nationwide.
