Lakeview Academy Has Its Very Own Coffee Club Cafe!

Grand opening of the LVA Coffee Club Cafe

Lakeview Academy has its very own the Coffee Club Café! Parents, teachers, and guests celebrated with our students during the grand opening as they viewed the newly repurposed space in the LVA Media Center. Everyone sampled some of the goodies that will be available throughout the school week. The café is the fruition of the planned expansion of the coffee club concept, first implemented by Ms. Colleen Costello and her team, last spring. It will serve as a “job site” for LVA’s exceptional children to practice their life skills in a business-like setting.

Special thanks go to Dr. Holder, Ms. Chancellor, Ms. Costello, Dr. Steinmeyer, Ms. Waldron, Ms. Parham, Ms. Burdge (and her husband's business), Ms. Justice, Ms. Pruett, Ms. Circe Foston, Ms. Townsend, LEAP Culinary Club, Ms. Leeder, Mr. and Mrs. Bo Sibilsky, Ms. Owens, and Ms. Cindy Sencindiver for their help and support during the planning and opening of the cafe.
