The Baldwin County School District announced today that Anthony K. Webb, former head coach of Worth County High in Sylvester, GA., has been selected as the new head basketball coach for Baldwin High School.

“We are incredibly excited to name Mr. Webb as the coach of our program at Baldwin High School and we are looking forward to watching him continue the excellent success that our basketball team has achieved over the past several years,” said Superintendent Dr. Noris Price.

“The basketball program here at Baldwin High School has been making some great gains over the past several years,” said Coach Webb. “It will be a big challenge continuing that success but I’m thrilled to get with our team and begin building upon that success.”

“We are excited to have Coach Webb join the Baldwin High School team,” says Baldwin High School Principal Jason Flanders. “He is an exceptional coach with a proven track record. We look forward to big things for Baldwin basketball.”

A veteran coach and educational leader, Webb has been involved in coaching for almost 20 years in Central Georgia. Webb also has considerable educational experience having served in prior positions as an assistant principal, principal and a career technical and agricultural education director.

Webb holds three degrees having earned his bachelor's at Albany State College in 1992, a masters from Troy University in 2006 and an educational specialist degree from Cambridge College in 2008.
