Come join us on Thursday, October 19 at 6 PM and discover the fun of science through hands-on STEM activities led by GCSU and LVA teachers. These activities are just a taste of what students are learning in the classroom using the recently adopted STEMscopes science curriculum. STEMscopes is "built on an instructional philosophy that centers on students learning science through hands-on exploration and inquiry. Each lesson includes a series of investigations and activities to bring science to life for our students so that they can “learn by doing” and fully engage in the scientific process."
The first LVA PTO meeting will also be held in conjunction with Science Night. All stakeholders are invited to join and help LVA accomplish on-going projects as well as plan new ones.
As an added bonus, students who attend Science Night will have the opportunity to meet and play with the LVA Probots and Lego robots and have a preview to the art and science of coding.
